HOLME VILLAGE HALL
Holme Village Hall is centrally placed in the East Riding, and lies on the edge of the Wolds 14 miles from Beverley and 5 miles from Market Weighton. The building has a versatile large hall, with a large stage, and as can be seen from photographs in the gallery, the hall lends itself to many different uses from weddings, children’s parties, staging concerts, shows, exhibitions, seminars and large gatherings (200 people), and community services such as Blood Donor sessions.
There is disabled access to the main hall, committee room and Social Club, and disabled toilet facilities are available in the main hall. The new kitchen, supplied in November 2010 by Howdens Joinery, is shared by both the committee room and main hall, and offers coffee/ tea making facilities. Preparation of food by the hirer is an option or there are caterers in the village who can supply all your catering needs. Ask for more details.
The Social club can also be hired for smaller private parties or can be used in conjunction with the main hall for a large event. Contact Jeff Spacey the Club Steward on 01430 860619 or Mrs. White on 01430 860447 for more information
A P.A. system is available for hire as are screens for both the main hall and committee room. The smaller committee room is ideal for meetings for up to 60 people. The two rooms can be used totally independently (the kitchen can be shared). Car parking for 40 cars is available in the large NEWLY RESURFACED !!!!! car park in front of the hall, and additional parking is possible in the nearby village.
